Powell's Martial Arts Academy was first created by Grand Master Gary Powell in 1984. Gary operated and ran this school as the head instructor. In 1988 Gary created Central Canada Martial Arts Associaton and designated Powell's Martial Arts Academy as the head Dojang for the association. in 2000 his son Kwang Jang Nim Justin Powell took over operation Of Powell's Martial Arts Academy And Has Continued The Tradition Of Teaching Traditional Tae Kwon Do And Historical Martial Arts Research Ever Since.
Kwang Jang Nim Justin Powell would also like to note Since Powell's Martial Arts Academy is the main school to the association you will notice that this site will also double as the school website. The Following Information will give up to date news about P.M.A.A.
